Hello students, parents, and fellow classmates! I am a UW- Platteville Student majoring in Elementary Education, as I am currently in Educational Media Theory class and learning how to blog for the first time ever! I will be posting many blogs that will serve as a digital portfolio for big projects I will be doing this semester. But before we jump in, I would like to introduce myself. I am the first born child and first generation student. I have four younger brothers. In my free time, I enjoy reading books- my favorite book is The Great Gatsby, drinking coffee, and spending time with my family. I decided to major in elementary education because I want to make a significant impact in the lives of children by making them believe they are intelligent, extraordinary, and loved. Teachers play such an important role in children’s lives and I am so excited to be the teacher that makes children blossom and have the same opportunities as every other child. I am determined to reach the core of every children’s heart and empower them to recognize the importance of education.
